A Little Cheesy
This week I am showcasing the A Little Cheesy stamp set. Just making a super simple card. I didn't use the Stampin' Up! blends to color the cheese and wine but you can get the same colors in the blends. This set and the sentiments are a whole mood. I love this set. It's fun and it can be for teachers, moms, or anybody. You can make them super simple, this week I'm going to make them a little more involved so you can see what you can do with this really fun stamp set.
Another awesome event happening this week is Sale-A-Bration. Friday is the start of a really awesome time in Stampin' Up!. During Sale-A-Bration you can get stamp sets and bundles and designer series paper when you make purchases from the catalog. You can really expand your sets during this time. There are some really great sets that you can get during Sale-A-Bration.

Today We Experience Some New Things
Today we played with some new products from the new catalog and some Sale-A-Bration products. I used the Wonderful World set from Sale-A-Bration and Go to Greetings. I am enjoying the simple elegant cards. The wonderful world DSP is so pretty and looked so nice with the Merry Merlot, Blackberry Bliss, Soft Succulent, and Pool Party cardstock. I also used basic white cardstock and the shimmery white card stock.
Sale-A-Bration starts on July 1st. 11 more days!!

Father's Day Inspiration
Today we are inspired by some new products, my mom and the fact that Father's Day is on Sunday. I received my new items from the new catalog and got some items from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. I used the Brewed for You stamp set. It comes with matching dies but this time I didn't use them. I used on of the new In-colors for the base of the card and basic white for the inside. The front has the Silver and Gold Specialty Paper. The 2 inch punch was used for the sentiment circle.
This card is 2 different pieces instead of 1. I did make a mistake though for the piece that is used for the hinge it does need to be a little thicker. With the width that I used the front is a little flimsy and it doesn't stay straight. The card was very easy to make and simple but fun. I used the blending brush to put a little color on the circle so it wasn't so stark white.
The "inside" of the card is the standard base size
1st layer 5 3/8 x 4 1/8,
basic white 5 1/4 x 4,
DSP 1 x 5
The front is 5 x 3 3/4 and the DSP is 4 7/8 x 3 1/8

Black and White
Today with start the week off with monochrome, easy cards. I only used 3 pieces of basic black cardstock, 2 pieces of basic white and 1 6x6 piece of DSP. When you're starting out these are good because you're not using a lot of stock of stuff and they are just super easy to put together. Help get the creativity going. I like cards like this because I do sometimes have a hard time getting ideas for something to make. The fun part is you can make these any types of cards you want. "Thank you, sympathy, feel better, birthday" They can be anything. you can also even add a little color with embellishments. I always like the simplicity of cards.
Joining me on a crafting journey could be a fun way to relax or earn some money. With Sale-A-Bration starting soon this is a great time to join. Also you get a discount on your products and first crack at new items.

This is a simple card I made with layered circle dies. The inside piece is shimmering white. The stamps are from the Amazing Silhouettes stamp sets and Blessings of Home for the sentiment. I used a brush and the ink to just brush some color onto the edges of the circles.

Start off June with Summery Colors
Todays simple card is highlighting the Blessings of Home stamp set and its matching Flowers of Home dies. I used the old paper embossing folder which is not available but you can always substitute it for another embossing folder. The inside is shimmering white cardstock. I colored the flowers with light/dark poppy parade, light/dark shaded spruce, light/dark daffodil delight, light/dark pumpkin pie, light/dark highland heather, light/dark polished pink.
Standard Base: 5 1/2 x 8 scored at 4 1/4
1st layer of Old olive: 4 3/8 x 5 1/4 but when you use an embossing folder the size of the paper can shrink because of the creases that the folder makes in the paper.
