Trying some new things

So finding time to craft is hard for me. When I get home from work after being up since 4am I have a hard time that day. So I'm really only crafting on my days off. But I used my new flower punch and 2inch circle punch for the first card.

This next card is a birthday card for my mother-in-law. I popped up the cake and used birthday paper in the circle. I colored it in with sharpies. I don't know where my markers are right now. This one was fun and simple also.

What kind of crafter are you?

So I have just started with the card making hobby. It is actually really relaxing for me. It was also really nice to find something that I really enjoyed doing. Unfortunately I have very limited space to do my crafting so right now I craft on my bed. My fiance go my a laptop desk so I have something to lean on while I'm sitting on my bed.

Making time to work is hard because I am all we I am at work at 5 am. So right now I've been working on my days off. I've really been enjoying my journey with this. But what kind of crafter are you. I think in many ways I am like my mom and I'm not the neatest crafter. My bed is covered with every craft supply is literally laying all over my bed and its just everywhere. It helps when I have no idea what I want to create.

Are you a neat crafter or a messy crafter? I am looking forward to the journey that I am going on. I don't think that I am going become a neater crafter.

Happy Crafting!!

Mother's Day Sunday Cards

I wanted to do a little creating today. Nothing really concrete in mind on what I wanted to do so I picked out the colors, Merry Merlot, Mossy Meadow and Very Vanilla. Then I looked at the stamp sets that I have and decided that I wanted to make something with a little more dimension. I have a butterfly punch so I stamped a couple butterflies to color in and punched them out. Then I used my paper pumpkin and kerchief kit to add a couple of other elements to the cards. All my cards are 4.25 x 5.5 inches. The second piece is 5.5 x 3.75 inches.

I hope you enjoy my Sunday creation.

Kit Card

These are from the Kerchief Card kit by Stampin' Up.

Kit sets are fun because they are quick and easy to make. I had made a card before this that I will post next week and I was tired because I'm still learning about this. I wanted to keep creating so I picked up something that would be fun and simple. You can follow the pictures that are on the kits or mix and match, make your own creation.

I haven't disappeared

Hello, I have been on a little break waiting for some more supplies to come in. Tomorrow I am going to be making an array of different cards for different occasions. I am making cards to then be made to order or to sell what I already have in stock. I am very excited for the new ventures that are coming. When I have a decent amount of cards to display I will open up an Etsy Shop that I will post on here. Thank you for being patient.
