Mother/ Daughter Project Day 8 Apple Harvest

 Day 8

I was feeling a bit Fall today. I decided to use the Apple Harvest stamp set with Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, and Basic White cardstock. I used an old retired DSP for these cards, 1 piece both sides. I kept the basic design again for these cards, they were very simple but I had to change a couple things because I didn't have the products.

For the first card, I kept it really simple, just layered it up, and used the Deckled Rectangles for the centerpiece. I used the "Thanks for your Kindness" sentiment, mostly because it was the only one that fit. Then I stamped and color the apple because when you are nice to a teacher you bring them an apple. 😊 I just stamped a few flowers on the inside and I really like the hatch work stamp.

For the second card, I kept the design but I used the old paper embossing folder for the Basic White layer. I used the matte layer of the DSP because it looked best with the Old Olive and the little bit of Daffodil Delight cardstock. I stamped the branch of apples and added the small flowers to fill in the white space. I colored the images in Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake, and Pale Papaya. For the inside, I kept it simple and glued a piece of DSP to the cardstock.

These cards were easy and fun. I enjoyed the fall feel because I am not enjoying the summer weather. My cards are always for sale and I will make personal cards as well. Contact me: asciolla.emma@gmail.com

Mother/ Daughter Project Day 7 Irresistible Blooms

 Day 7

Today I am playing with the Irresistible Blooms stamp set. I had the set for these cards but I decided to not use it. I used Very Vanilla (my favorite cardstock), Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, and Petal Pink. I had the DSP that goes with this set, Hello, Irresistible 6x6.

On the first card, I kept the base of the card design the same, base, matte layer, and DSP (2 designs). The sentiment is backed with a die from the Irresistible Blooms set (2 pieces in 2 colors), then I punched a piece of DSP and Very Vanilla with my 2 3/8" and 2" punches. I glued down the decorative circles and then popped up the sentiment. The card still needed a little something so I added some embellishments, butterflies, and gems. The inside is just a simple matte and Very Vanilla layer stamped with a flower.

The second card is very close to the same design but I had to change the embossing folder and the dies used because I didn't have the ones used. I used the Playing in the Rain embossing folder for the background and the deckled rectangles die. I thought the DSP for the matte layer of the sentiment looked really nice. Then the front needed some gems and a bow. Again I kept the inside really simple.

These cards were easy and fun to make. The colors were awesome together and the DSP that goes with this stamp set was the perfect color match. My cards are always for sale and I will make personal cards for you as well. You can contact me: asciolla.emma@gmail.com

Mother/ Daughter Project Day 6 Let's Go Shopping

Day 6

Today we are playing with the Let's Go Shopping stamp set. I kept to the basic design of the cards I drew inspiration from with some changes. I used Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, and Very Vanilla cardstock. Then I found DSP that matched my color scheme for these cards. I don't know the names of them. ,

This first card is a fun fold card, not the typical card dimensions. Base of the card is in Crumb Cake. I used the Deckled Rectangles Dies for stamped rectangles. I stamped everything is Early Espresso. The stamps for this set are photopolymer and even if you clean off the stamp every time you use it the Early Espresso leaves a red tint on the stamp. I colored in various colors using the blends and Stampin' write markers. I added some champagne embellishments to give it a little sparkle. The Very Vanilla cardstock on the inside is embossed with the Painted Texture embossing folder. All the pieces were just glued down. This card was fun and I really like this set.

This second card is the typical card base in Early Espresso. The DSP for this card is so pretty and the gold shimmer worked so well with the colors I used. For the sentiment I used the Deckled Rectangles again then glued it to the front. The stamped shoppe I colored in various blends and Stampin' write markers then popped it up on dimensionals. Used more champagne gemstones for a little extra sparkle. The inside is just stamped with flower pots and the chair and table stamp. Both of these cards are simple, the only "time consuming" part is the coloring.

I hope you like my cards today. My cards are always for sale and I will make special personal cards also. You can contact me by email: asciolla.emma@gmail.com

Day 5 Mother/ Daughter Project Friendship Royalty

 Day 5

Today I was focusing on DSP and used the Friendship Royalty stamp set. I used the Dandy Design DSP, 1 piece for each card and both sides. For the cardstock, I used Blushing Bride and Purple Posey (which is retired), Very Vanilla, and Basic White.

For the first card, I used Blushing Bride for the card base since I was using purple for the DSP. The ribbon is Bubble Bath. I embossed the wand and the sparkles in silver embossing powder. I glued down the first 2 layers and then the 3 vertical layers popped up. The inside is just stamped in Fresh Fresia.

For this second card, I was really excited about using the crown. I used the Purple Posey for the base. I again glued down the first layers and popped up the centerpiece. I embossed the crown in silver, fussy cut it out, and glued it down. It's a simple front with a few embellishments and a Bubble bath ribbon. The inside sentiment is just stamped in Fresh Fresia. So lovely and simple.
