Water coloring Attempt 2!

So I decided to use a different image and did some more water coloring. It isn't a perfect science but it takes so much practice. For this first one I used a thin brush and it came out not how I wanted it. There was too much water and it came out dark again and you can see the width of the brush. I used the refill bottles and put a couple drops on a stamp block.

In this second attempt, I used a thicker brush. There was too much water but the color was a better shade. The momento also bleeds a little bit because of all the water. I liked this coloring better.

In this attempt, I used the thicker brush again and I got the ink-to-water ratio to work better. This is the coloring that I was looking for in water coloring. For the blue flower, I colored in the center separately and colored the petals first. The water also didn't bleed through the cardstock and worked so much better.

For this last attempt, I used the big brush just to see what it looked like. The brush doesn't work with this image but I can see how it would be good for background on cards. It also came out a little darker than I would have liked so if I wanted to use it for a background I would have to get a better ratio of water to ink.

Tomorrow, September 15th 12:01am - 11:59pm MT, is an awesome day! There is a 24-hour
